We’re glad you want to try Scottish Country Dancing! Here is information to help you get started. We dance at Dance Spot of DuPage, 605 E Ogden Ave, Naperville, IL 60563. This is a dance studio in the basement of a strip mall at the NE corner of Ogden Ave and Wright Street in Naperville (just west of the light at Ogden and Columbia Rd). We park in the ample parking behind the building or along the east side of the building to avoid conflicts with other tenants of the building. We enter through a door in the back of the building or one in the center of the front of the building.

We dance from 7:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. every Tuesday with a few exceptions. Check our calendar page or watch for emails about these exceptions (generally holidays or bad weather).

You do not need to bring a partner although you are welcome to do so – we change partners every dance so you get to dance with several partners. Since this is a dance studio with a dance floor, we do ask that you bring clean-soled shoes for dancing. For Scottish Country Dancing we generally dance in ghillies or full-soled ballet slippers, but any comfortable shoes are fine, especially to try out the dancing.
