Special Events

Sadly, because of on-going covid concerns, the Chicago Branch will not hold a New Year’s Ball in 2022.  We are looking forward to having a Ball in January 2023.  Check back for more details.

The Chicago Branch is planning a Fall Dance for Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Batavia Academy of Dance, 8 E Wilson St, Batavia, IL 60510. As you enter, go to your left and up the stairs to the second floor dance studio.  Note that the same covid protocols apply as for classes: wear masks at all times other than when eating or drinking (if you bring snacks, please bring packaged snacks), show proof of being fully vaccinated (if you have not already done so for class), and agree to the waiver of liability either at the dance or (preferred) at this link (also if you have not already done so). The cost of the dance per person is $5 and you may use your class voucher card to pay for it if you have one.

The dance program (you can download the crib here Fall Dance_2021) is:

  1. New Beginnings 32J3
  2. The Royal Deeside Railway 32R3
